UDSS Hosts UK Defence Attaché's Course: Strengthening International Security Cooperation

Universal Defence and Security Solutions (UDSS) was delighted to host the latest cohort of His Majesty’s Defence Attaché (DA) and Assistants.

This group consisted of over 20 Defence Attaché (DA) and Assistants. During the event, UDSS provided them with a comprehensive overview of its services and how it can assist them in their respective roles in their service overseas.

The UDSS team, including co-chairman Peter Hewitt, Directors VAdm (Retd) Duncan Potts and Maj Gen (Retd) David Shouesmith, and former UK DAs Neville McNally and John Saville, led the event which took place at the Guildhall in London on July 26, with 24 course staff and members in attendance.

During this session, UDSS emphasised its ability to support the provision of UK Defence Knowledge to allies and partners in regions where the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) might not have the necessary resources.

Various areas of potential support were discussed, with a particular emphasis on professional military education, which is a area of specialism for UDSS.

Subsequently, the UDSS briefing led to in-depth discussions with the new outbound DA cohort, fostering excellent engagement and bringing to light several areas for further exploration.

UDSS is eagerly looking forward to hosting the next course in November.
