Ade Clewlow MBE Publishes Gripping Debut Spy Thriller, A Deniable Conspiracy

 

Drawing directly from his remarkable military and post-service experiences, Ade delivers a story steeped in authenticity, intrigue, and danger. Set against the volatile backdrop of Mogadishu, the novel follows Christian Travers, a British ex-military contractor working for the United Nations who becomes entangled in a covert operation with global implications. Ade’s deep understanding of conflict zones and the complexities of international relations shines through every page. His 25-year military career, culminating as a Lieutenant Colonel, saw him serve across the globe, from Belize to Baghdad, before retiring in 2012. His first book, Under A Feathered Sky (2020), offered a powerful non-fiction account of his time in Kosovo with NATO.

 

Following his military career, Ade spent nine months in East Africa, working within a United Nations strategic communications team, an experience that would later inspire this gripping debut.
