Project Manager

Role: Solutions-driven, dynamic and self-starter Project Manager.

Full Time: 5 days per week.

Location: Hybrid, 1 day pw in London Office, 4 days pw remote. Flexible working hours.

Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum depending on experience.

Holidays: 25 leave days per year plus public holidays.

About the Role:

As Project Manager, you will provide overarching management of all the companys public sector and some private sector projects. For example, a security audit and improvement programme assisting NGOs and CSOs (Civil Society Organisations) across Europe and Central Asia who are part of the government supply chain. This is a fantastic opportunity to build relationships with organisations that are passionate about what they do but may not have the resources, expertise or capacity to mitigate the security threats that face them. As project manager, you will ensure excellent client relations, manage project budgets and billing, and ensure delivery of project activities in a timely fashion.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Client:
  • Build relationships with the company’s clients and our clients’ supply chain including civil society, media and not-for-profit organisations.
  • Demonstrate an interest in geopolitics and contextualise client requirements to ensure project activities are fit for purpose and meet client objectives.
  • Write reports on project activities – monthly, quarterly and/or annually.

Commercial:

  • Manage financial, contractual, and logistical elements of the project from inception to exit.
  • Understand client contracts, legal and commercial requirements of each project to ensure effective delivery
  • Financial responsibilities will include cost monitoring, preparing invoices and financial reporting both internally and to clients.

Delivery:

  • Ensure project are undertaken and deliverables produced within the scope of the contract and its terms and conditions.
  • Resource project in line with project requirements and budgets, utilising internal staff and ensuring capacity across other company clients and projects.
  • Coordinate travel logistics in line with project/client policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and manage risks
  • Ensure the projects operate in line with company internal policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate strong capability utilising IT software and systems used for project management, financial management and resource management – even if this is just
    Microsoft Excel.

  • Written & Verbal skills. Have outstanding written, presentation and verbal communications skills.
  • Knowledge. Maintains a high level of security industry knowledge and awareness’s and can apply perspective to information and incidences with access to information resources.

Qualifications & Certifications

  • At least 5 years’ project management experience which must include for UK public sector projects.
  • A Project Management qualification such as APMP or PRINCE2.
  • Have previously held or can hold Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance.
