[ UDSS ](https://www.universal-defence.com/blog-old/author/udss) Jun 13, 2022 10:37:15 AM

Last week [Universal Defence and Security Solutions](https://www.linkedin.com/company/universal-defence-security-solutions/) Director [David Shouesmith](https://www.linkedin.com/in/ACoAAARbe4kBJRpL2C3f-7f8hoBeevkY3Ahcst4) and member of the senior leadership team [Neville McNally](https://www.linkedin.com/in/ACoAAAKE5goB3Azxkj7mxxELBStnxi0K1yQ2At8), had the chance to meet a group of outbound UK defence attaches, at Larkhill on a Defence and Security exports sponsored event.

The event was organised by [ADS](https://www.adsadvance.co.uk/) and [Make UK Defence](https://www.makeuk.org/about/make-uk-defence) supported by the [British Army](https://www.linkedin.com/company/british-army/) which showcased the best of UK [#defenceexports](https://www.linkedin.com/feed/hashtag/?keywords=defenceexports&highlightedUpdateUrns=urn%3Ali%3Aactivity%3A6941434067611484160). It was all part of the defence attaches course, during which they do a week of familiarisation on UK defence exports.

David and Neville met 15 defence attaches, including those bound for Jamaica, Nigeria, Georgia, the Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand and many others.

They explained how UDSS offer the export of [#ukdefence](https://www.linkedin.com/feed/hashtag/?keywords=ukdefence&highlightedUpdateUrns=urn%3Ali%3Aactivity%3A6941434067611484160) knowledge and gave examples of recent work we had done supporting some Caribbean nations.

They were also delighted to welcome a separate delegation from Nigeria.
